Short Bio

From Puerto Rico, living in Seattle, I have been making art since childhood. I'm interested in color, concealed voices, diversity and the inevitability of time and space.

Statement

Nature ignites imagination and possibilities, while lost narratives prompt nostalgia for the unknown: intangible nuances of our reality. I am fascinated by using color as a tangible language to capture the elusive realities that shape our interactions with space, time, matter, and life—feelings, emotions, and sensations. These abstract concepts can be seen as cognitive awareness of unconscious perceptions. My work aims to emphasize the power of color in conveying how we experience specific moments in particular places, rather than merely depicting a material perception of color. My art reflects an inner realism, representing my response to the inexplicable and unexpected sensory stimuli encountered in my interactions with time and space.
